KINK COVEN IS INSPIRED BY COMMUNITY AND THE RITUAL OF BDSM.
When Covid happened, so many of us were removed from the communities that helped us stay grounded in our erotic essence and power. No longer able to go to play parties and be perverts with our friends, we were forced to find new ways of socializing. KINK COVEN was born from this, for a longing for ritualized BDSM, and from the intense desire to help those in our community most impacted by Whorephobia and policing.
KINK COVEN is a celebration of the magick of the sexual and the flesh. It is a celebration of sex work, subversion, and finding the erotic edge through meditation, breathwork, magick, and ceremony.
Each month, we let the Full Moon and whatever zodiacal sign it’s in guide us in a ritual of protection and celebration. We then evoke and connect to a face of the Divine Feminine that aligns with the current lunation, working with Her in meditation, and then bringing this archetypal power into a spell of protection for sex workers around the world. By playing and being freaks together, we raise the energy to charge our spell, before sending it out, and closing the ceremony.
KINK COVEN is pay what you like, with all donations going to sex worker advocacy groups, mutual aid funds, and directly into the hands of sex workers. In the past, we have donated to SWOP, SWOP Behind Bars, Venus Cuff’s Mutual Aid Fund, and Red Canary Song.
